You can be 100% confident that during the installation, any common window or door opening won’t be exposed to the winter cold for more than just 5 minutes. Time saved is energy saved.
It's all about preparation. Before your existing window or door is removed, all existing casing, trim, capping is removed and the window or door to be installed is set close by. We will close any interior doors in the room – to lessen heat loss from the rest of the house. The old window or door is pulled out and the new one set in place from inside the home – very quick, no more than 5 minutes.
Once the new window is in and the exposed opening is closed then the finishing work is started. The new window or door is then finished with insulation, caulking, casing, trim and capping.
Any heat or comfort loss that you may have from a winter installation will pale to the energy savings and overall comfort of your home by installing new Centennial Windows and Doors.
Time saved is energy saved.
