Centennial Windows

EFFECTIVE 31 MARCH 2010:

The Federal Government announced today that the ecoEnergy Grant program has
been cancelled. Stay tuned for updates regarding the Ontario portion of this
program.

For customers who have already had an ecoEnergy home evaluation, there is no
change and you will still receive your Federal portion of the Grant if your
work is completed by the existing march 2011 deadline.

Yes, you could qualify for a Government Grant!

The ecoENERGY Grant

But before you qualify for the combined Federal and Provincial ecoEnergy Grant for your new energy efficient windows, you will need an evaluation of the current energy efficiency of your home. This evaluation involves an inspection of your complete home and includes a blower test to check for areas where air leakage is present. Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) requires that this be performed by a licensed evaluator who has completed an extensive training program and passed the formal examination. In addition to your new windows, you will have 18 months after the energy evaluation is complete in which to finish any other improvements to your home that may also qualify for the ecoENERGY Grant. This includes many other items such as furnaces and air conditioners, so for a full list we suggest you visit www.oee.nrcan.gc.ca

The combined Federal and Provincial Grant on windows is set at $80 per opening plus $150 (maximum) towards the cost of the actual Energy Evaluation. Windows must be ENERGY STAR® qualified and you will need a second evaluation after all your work is complete.
