Just how good are Centennial's windows?
At Centennial Windows, we don’t believe in making claims about our products that are not supported by independent test results. Both Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), through the Office of Energy Efficiency, and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) run programs to help consumers compare products. Centennial has long been recognized as a leading proponent of comparison labeling of windows, and we are proud of the fact that we were the very first window company to carry the CSA label and then the very first in Canada to carry the ENERGY STAR label.
But carrying the label is just the beginning for Centennial. Centennial Windows is the only company in Canada, and we don’t mean just window companies, ANY company involved in manufacturing or retailing any product that carries the ENERGY STAR label, to have been awarded both the ENERGY STAR Manufacturer of the Year award and the ENERGY STAR Retailer of the Year award. No other window company, national retailer or manufacturer of any kind, can claim this distinction. But even that honour was eclipsed on 4 June 2008 when Centennial Windows was presented with the 2008 ENERGY STAR Award for Sustained Excellence! This is only the third time this award has been presented and the first time it has ever been presented to a window company. Previous recipients are Whirlpool Canada and BC Hydro.

All of Centennial’s windows carry the highest energy efficiency rating available in Canada. This means that all of our windows will perform at peak energy conservation and efficiency as far North as the North Pole. That’s a very important fact when you realize that up to 27% of a home's energy loss is through windows and doors.
CSA Certified to the highest testing levels
Centennial Windows was the first window manufacturer in Canada to receive certification by CSA. Under this program, manufacturers voluntarily open their facilities to CSA, who then independently verify that the products manufactured by a window company actually do meet the same standards as those originally tested. Consumers can purchase certified products with 100% confidence that they will meet the standards on the CSA Certified label. Every Centennial product is CSA Certified.
