London, December 2008
December 2008 - Centennial Windows Nominated for Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award.
The London Chamber of Commerce has advised Centennial that the company has been nominated for the prestigious 2008 Business Achievement Award (Large Business Category). This is the fifth time that Centennial has been nominated for this award and in the spring of 2006 Centennial was one of four finalists for the same award.
Every year a number of different awards are presented to London and area businesses in a number of categories, at a gala event at the London Convention Centre. The major awards being the Business Achievement Awards for small (under 50 employees) and large businesses. To be considered for an award a nominee must prepare an in depth written submission and a panel of judges then evaluates how the nominee company has performed in six key areas:
1. Business Achievements,
2. Innovations in Product, Service, or Technology,
3. Management/Employee Relations,
4. Employee Training and Development,
5. Contribution to Employment Base
6. Commitment to the Community
The top contenders then receive a visit from a different panel of Chamber judges and if the company is worthy, they will be selected to go on to be one of the four finalists in March.
While we are honoured to be nominated for this award, the management and employees of Centennial are all hoping that this is our year and that the company will go on this time to be named the Large Business of the Year!
