Door Styles Overview

Centennial doors not only add warmth and beauty to your home, they also add extra security and are virtually maintenance free. Centennial offers many types or door styles, options and colours for any entryway or patio.

Fibreglass Entry Doors

Fibreglass is a premium door material because of its versatility, strength, durability and finish options.

Fibreglass...

  • has the same structural strength as steel but is more resilient with less contraction and expansion allowing the door to operate properly year after year
  • is as energy efficient as wood, if not better - saving money and providing comfort
  • won’t rust or rot
  • doesn’t need to be regularly primed and painted
  • is dent resistant and easily repaired if needed

The Centennial Fibreglass Advantage

Over the years fibreglass doors have had problems...specifically in cold climates fibreglass doors are prone to warping which stops the door from sealing properly resulting in air and water leaks. In some cases, doors simply can’t be closed or locked.

Unfortunately this problem still exists for most fibreglass doors made today, but not for Centennial:

  • Our research and development team worked with fibreglass experts and engineers for over four years to develop a patented fibreglass door system that has specifically addressed this ‘cold’ binding issue
  • Centennial Fibreglass doors are guaranteed not to bind or warp
  • we use Hi-fibre premium Fibreglass
  • Centennial fibreglass slabs are cured (completely dried) and then treated with a patented premium gel-coat seal within hours of the curing process, permanently locking out moisture
  • Composite frames on fibreglass door systems won’t rot or warp
  • Maintenance free composite brick mould that won’t rot and will match your premium fibreglass door finish

Premium Steel Entry Doors

Centennial premium quality steel doors are virtually maintenance free and unlike wood entry doors, steel will not rot.

Steel doors are...

  • easy to maintain
  • beautiful, with a smooth, even finish when coated
  • cost effective
  • rust resistant

The Centennial Steel Advantage

Centennial uses solid 24-gauge premium steel for extra durability, limiting dents and rust.

Our steel doors are hot dipped galvanized on both sides rather than sprayed on the outside only. This process, along with our Polytex coating, seals the door to prevent warping.

  • Centennial glues and crimps the skins of doors
  • Frames - no staples and low route screws per corner
  • The stiles on the doors have 1 3/4” frame
  • Finger jointed pine frames with stress grooves prevent cupping and warping

Patio Garden Doors

Patio Garden doors swing open for easy access to the outdoors.

Available in single or double doors, garden doors are traditionally located at the rear of the house, and create a beautiful focal point from inside and out.

Patio Sliding Doors

Patio Sliding doors provide maximum view with space optimization and full screening for fresh air.

The frame and panels are made from high quality vinyl. They are virtually maintenance free, easy to operate and energy efficient.

  • Low E glass and Argon is standard
  • steel reinforced frame for strength and durability
  • optional anti-theft lock block for added security against forced entry
  • inter-locking flange at the centre where the panels meet to prevent drafts.

Available in standard and custom sizes.
